Veyo from Google Street View

Description:
Veyo is a small town 20 miles northwest of St. George.  The small town has a number of trees and the Santa Clara River flows through town as it heads towards Gunlock Reservoir.

Birding:
Most birding in Veyo is just drive by birding, but you can stop on any of the side streets or along the river to see what might be around.  During migration the river corridor is worth checking for migrants, while soaring hawks can be seen along the surrounding ridges.  Veyo needs some love in eBird, so if you pass through stop for a few minutes and submit a checklist!

Directions:
Take Exit 6 in St. George and go north on UT-18 for 20 miles and you will arrive on Main and Center in Veyo.
