Sparks Spring from Bing Birds Eye View
Description:
Very little information to go on about this location. It appears to be on the Locomotive Springs Loop Road, so in most cases is probably entered as part of the hot spot. The small spring provides open water, and some wetland habitat in an otherwise shrubsteppe surrounded desert in just about the middle of nowhere.
Birding:
Currently the location list has just 5 species. TUNDRA SWAN, NORTHERN HARRIER, COMMON RAVEN, HORNED LARK, and notably SAGEBRUSH SPARROW--all from a single mid February Checklist.
Directions:
Getting to this location take some planning and choosing the best route to suit your needs. Instead of trying to list out step by step directions, we have created a a Google search with 3 different options for driving here: View Google Map and Directions. Good Luck!
